Our Trip to Aruba!

Updated: Jun 5, 2020

What a great start to our 3rd Wedding Anniversary!

One thing I've gotten a chance to learn about my husband was that he really prefers relaxing while on vacation than adventurous trips. But, this time he was opened to doing more than relaxing which, was super exciting for me.

Let's just start off by saying that this was out first time on an All-Inclusive resort especially with the RIU Brand. We stayed at the Adults-Only Hotel Riu Palace Antillas.

When we arrived at the airport in Aruba, I was really surprised by how quickly we got through immigrations, our bags were pretty much waiting on us and our transfers were ready to go. Aruba you were deff on point! I do advise that you fill out Aruba's ED Card prior to your trip.

As we got closer to our Resort (which took us 20mins) the anticipation was at an all time high because I was not sure of what to expect at this point. The street art and colorful establishments caught my eye which made our transfer to the hotel a bit more interesting.

Upon arrival I suddenly felt calm. It was good to hear the waves and loads of great hospitality in the background. I don't know what it is about feeling taken cared of that makes my worries go away.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by smiling faces, a welcome drink, and cold minted towels. I pretty much wiped all my troubles away with that towel lol. The lobby grabbed my attention and made me feel like I belonged here! At this point I couldn't wait to see my room.

We stayed in a Junior Ocean View Suite which was very satisfying. The views were spectacular!

For the remainder of the day we spent our time walking around and enjoying the property architecture and what it has to offer. I even went to karaoke night and sang my heart out to my husband. Take a look at the video to get a good laugh!
